  • You are responsible for overall day-to-day sales management and results.
  • You have a strong account management experience in retail, the preference in Germany, Italy or Spain.
  • You have extensive experience in PL business, and understanding customer needs in the retail environment
  • You provide leadership to a growing sales department.
  • You meet with retail clients to support and grow sales volume.
  • You identify and develop new business, and growth opportunities.
  • You build effective relationships with customers in different regions across the world.
  • You develop, implement and personally participate in growth and profit strategies.
  • You achieve sales targets/ annual objectives.
  • You coach, train, and develop the team.
  • You prepare the annual budget, analyse variances and initiate improvement actions.
  • You attend international exhibitions/tradeshows, and meetings to explore new markets.
  • You ensure compliance with export regulations.
  • You maintain a high service level to customers.
  • You report to the Managing Director.

Job requirements

  • BsC/MsC level of working and thinking.
  • Sales experience in organic ingredients is preferable.
  • Experience and a network in retail market is required.
  • Experience with PL sales.
  • In depth industry and sustainability knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability in co-operating with people with different cultural backgrounds.
  • Hands-on manager skills.
  • Excellent English language skills (written, spoken).
  • Command English. Dutch and German language skills are a plus.
  • Good understanding of the overall organic supply chain process dynamics, from farm origin to production and delivery of the right quality food products.
